  • Issue: Creating or modifying LiveView configuration from Insights results in a 500 error, and the configuration is not saved.

  • Solution:

    • The on‑prem InsightsAPI-CI pipeline used sparse checkout and unintentionally excluded the repository’s global.json. As a result, the .NET SDK was not pinned, and builds defaulted to the highest available SDK on the agent (e.g., .NET 10 / C# 14). This caused incompatible LINQ translation behavior in EF6 at runtime.The Fix is by updating the pipeline to include /global.json in the sparse checkout configuration. This ensures the build uses the intended .NET 8 SDK (via SDK pinning and roll-forward policy), restoring compatibility and preventing the runtime failure.
