EWA Client application crashes​

  • Ticket: 413997021430, 409788066016, 410087726315 | DevOps: 38594, 38264| Reported by: HSØ, HMN
  • Issue: Users report that after the latest update the app crashes unpredictably—commonly while entering information in the old history of illness and when completing the cardiac arrest form—resulting in a full logout and requiring the user to sign in again. Technically, the UWP app crashes with RPC_E_WRONG_THREAD (0x8001010E) when a background thread updates journal properties that trigger XAML binding operations on the wrong thread.
  • Solution: Wrapped the property assignment in DispatchHelper.DispatchToUiThread() to ensure all UI-related property changes happen on the correct thread.
