Refactor Progress

In this document we will try to show the effect of the refactoring done on the Data Warehouse Export Service.

Time for exporting 500 journals in Bliksund environment​

  • 30 November 2022 - Renaming from ReportingExportService to BliksundDataWarehouseExportService and expanding with more datasets/tables

Adding Fact tables

  • 10 January 2023 - Fixed parameters for logging in data warehouse export service

  • 14 March 2023 - Refactor step 1

Export time for refactor step 1

  • 12 April 2023 - Refactor step 2

Export time for refactor step 2

  • 17 April 2023 - Refactor step 3

Export time for refactor step 3

  • 20 April 2023 - Refactor step 4

Export time for refactor step 4

This means that we have managed to cut down the time spent significantly.
